Chris Bittman
Partner, CEO and CIO

Chris Bittman is a Partner at PWP and CEO and CIO of Agility. He is a voting member of the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Chris was the Chief Investment Officer of the University of Colorado Foundation.  Under his leadership the Foundation was named “Large Foundation of the Year” in 2007 by Institutional Investor’s Foundation & Endowment Money Management magazine based on “superior investment performance, innovation and notable asset allocation moves.”  Before being named the first CIO of the Foundation in 2004, he was the President and CEO of Jurika & Voyles, a California investment firm, where he was responsible for the management of over $5 billion for a broad variety of Fortune 500 corporations, public funds, foundations, endowments, and families.  He began his career on Wall Street as the Western Regional Manager for Merrill Lynch’s Business Financial Services Group and was the youngest Regional Manager in the group’s history.

Chris graduated from the University of Colorado in 1985 and served the institution as a volunteer for nearly 20 years in various capacities – as President of its Alumni Association; as Trustee and Director of its Foundation; and as Chair of the Foundation’s Investment Committee.  He sits as a guest lecturer on investment management at the University’s Leeds School of Business and is a former member of the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics Task Force.  He has served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Colorado Public Television, Investment Committee member of the Colorado Health Foundation, board member of the University of Colorado Technology Transfer Office and Trustee of Colorado Academy – a private, coeducational college preparatory school in Denver.  Chris currently serves as the National President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  Under Chris’s management, Agility has received a number of awards including the OCIO of the Year Award in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 by Institutional Investor.

Kent Muckel

Partner, Deputy CIO

Kent Muckel is a Partner at PWP and Deputy CIO of Agility. He also leads Agility’s Public Markets Team. He is a voting member of the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Kent was the Chief Investment Officer for Baylor University, where he was charged with overseeing the day-to-day investment practices and operations of Baylor’s endowment.  Before joining Baylor, Kent held the role of senior portfolio manager with the University of Colorado Foundation, where he was jointly responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and monitoring of the Foundation’s then $1 billion in assets. Previously, Kent was Vice President and Senior Director for Public Markets at Qwest Asset Management Company, where he was responsible for managing over $10 billion in public market and liquid alternative investments for the company’s defined benefit assets. Prior to Qwest, he has held various positions as a fixed income portfolio manager and investment specialist.

Kent earned a B.S. in Finance with honors from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver, and is a CFA charterholder. Kent is an investment committee member for the Colorado Trust, a healthcare foundation, and is also an active supporter of numerous cancer and other healthcare-focused charities and foundations.

Darren Myers

Darren Myers is a Partner at PWP and Director of Research for Agility.  He also leads Agility’s Absolute Return Team. He is a voting member of the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, he served as a Senior Research Analyst at Tejas Securities Group, Inc., where he provided investment recommendations on special situation and distressed debt opportunities.  Darren was previously a Senior Analyst at UTIMCO focusing on hedge fund investments for the $3 billion Marketable Alternative Investments portfolio.  He also worked at Perry Capital, LLC, a multi-billion dollar private investment management firm.

Darren holds a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program and an M.B.A., both from the University of Texas at Austin.  Darren is a CFA charterholder. He is an active endurance athlete, completing the Atacama Crossing, a 150 mile ultramarathon in the Chilean desert, and an Ironman triathlon.

Trey Thompson is a Partner at PWP and President of Agility. He helps run the day-to-day operations of the Agility business and works closely with a number of Agility’s OCIO clients. He is a voting member of the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Trey served as the Managing Director of Private Markets investments for the University of Texas Investment Management Company (“UTIMCO”) from 2002 to 2007. During his tenure at UTIMCO, Trey was responsible for building a team of professionals who were responsible for committing over $2.7 billion to venture capital and private equity funds globally. Prior to joining UTIMCO, Trey made investments on behalf of the Prudential Capital Group, served as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney, and worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Trey received an A.B. in American History from Princeton University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Trey is a CFA charterholder. Trey serves as an Elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church, and is a member of the Sportsman’s Club of Austin, which raises funds for the Rise School of Austin, a preschool for children with disabilities. Trey enjoys exercising and playing an occasional round of golf, and is happily married with two teenage children.

Adam Cohen is a Managing Director at PWP and is Head of Operational Due Diligence for Agility where his duties include performing operational due diligence on Agility’s underlying investment managers, and overseeing Agility’s Operational Due Diligence program.

Prior to joining PWP, Adam was an Executive Director in the Alternative Investments Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (formerly known as Morgan Stanley Smith Barney), where he served as Head of Operational Due Diligence.  Prior to this role, Adam served as Head of Operational Due Diligence at Citi Global Wealth Management.  In both of these roles, Adam was responsible for conducting operational due diligence on a broad range of alternative investments globally, as well as managing a team of analysts.  Adam brings over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, including as a controller and senior financial officer.

Adam earned a BBusSc with Honors in Finance from the University of Cape Town and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Thomas Hewett

Thomas Hewett is the Chief Risk Officer at PWP.  Prior to joining PWP, he was the Global Chief Risk Officer of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Traditional Asset Management business (MSIM-TAM) where he was responsible for all aspects of market, credit and operational risk management oversight of the asset management business from a fiduciary and proprietary perspective.  Prior to that, Dr. Hewett was a Managing Director in the Risk Team at MSIM and managed the quant team responsible for risk analytics.  Before joining MSIM, he was the Senior Manager – Quantitative Services in the Global Capital Markets Consulting Group at Deloitte & Touche.  Dr. Hewett previously held faculty positions in mathematics at Princeton University and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He received a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Cape Town.

Dr. Amita Schultes is a Managing Director at PWP and a member of the Investment Team of Agility. In this role, Amita is responsible for leading client relationships and contributing to the research effort. She participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Amita has more than 21 years of investment experience.  Prior to joining PWP in October of 2017, Amita was at Colonial Consulting from 2002 to 2017, where she most recently served as a Partner and Senior Consultant responsible for serving as the sole investment consultant to numerous non-profit institutional investors and pension plans. She was previously a Senior Consultant of Ibbotson Associates, where she developed asset allocation programs for asset management companies, insurance companies and broker dealers. Amita began her career as an Investment Consulting Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney.

Amita earned a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an M.S. in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Finance/Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University.  She has served on the Board of the Service Program for Older People, the Bronx Lighthouse Charter School and on the Family Advisory Council of the Komansky Center for Children’s Health at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Schultes is a Trustee of the Mitchell Wolfson Sr. Foundation.

Aron Grodinsky is an Executive Director at PWP and a senior member of Agility’s Public Markets Team, where he is responsible for manager due diligence and portfolio management across public equities, fixed income and publicly traded real assets. Additionally, Aron has some client portfolio management responsibilities and participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Aron was a Senior Investment Officer at George Washington University’s Investment Office, where he helped to manage the investment direction of the University’s endowment.  Before that, he was Executive Director of Investments at UJA-Federation of New York where his responsibilities included oversight and due diligence across a broad range of both traditional and alternative investment strategies, as well as evaluation of asset allocation and risk management at the portfolio level.  Prior to that, Aron was a Vice President in Merrill Lynch’s Wealth Management division, where he advised institutional and high net worth clients on asset allocation and manager selection.  He began his career as a Consultant in the Information Technology industry.

Aron received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and an M.B.A. from The Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia.  Aron holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Aron is a board member, and is Chair-Elect of the investment committee, for Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado (JEWISHColorado), a Colorado-based foundation focused on meeting the needs of the Jewish community both locally and abroad. Aron also serves as a member of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Commission for the city of Cherry Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Outside the office, Aron enjoys skiing, ice hockey, and golf, and spends time exploring all that Colorado has to offer with his wife and three children.

Jameela Pedicini is an Executive Director at Perella Weinberg Partners and co-leads the Mission Aligned Investment efforts of the firm. She is responsible for managing client relationships with a focus on impact investing and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues into Agility’s investment process. She participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Jameela was the first Vice President for Sustainable Investing at Harvard Management Company, where she was responsible for leading Harvard’s sustainable investing strategy and integrating ESG issues into its investment process. She was previously an Investment Officer at the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (“CalPERS”), where she led the development and implementation of a variety of strategic ESG integration initiatives across the investment fund. Before working in the U.S., Jameela worked in London for the UN Principles for Responsible Investment where she led shareholder engagement initiatives between institutional investors and public companies on social issues including boardroom gender diversity, and labor practices and human rights in global supply chains. Jameela began her career as a Global Risk Analyst at Verisk Maplecroft.

Jameela holds an MPhil in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford, an MSc from the University of Amsterdam, a B.A. from Antioch University, and the CFA Society of the UK, Investment Management Certificate. She previously served on the Standards Council of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board in San Francisco. In her spare time, Jameela enjoys planning her next international adventure, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Jeff Curtis is a Director at PWP and is a member of Agility’s Private Capital Team, where he is responsible for managing clients’ private investment portfolios. In addition to portfolio management, Jeff sources investments and manages relationships with General Partners. He participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Jeff was an Analyst in the Energy Group at UBS Investment Bank, where he worked on various transactions, including corporate mergers and acquisitions, asset divestitures, debt restructuring, and strategic advisory assignments.

Jeff is a CFA charterholder and represents PWP on multiple Limited Partner Advisory Committees.  Jeff holds a B.A. in the Business Honors Program and an M.P.A., both from the University of Texas at Austin.  Outside the office, Jeff is active in his church, likes to stay fit by playing sports, and loves to spend time with his wife and son, Cooper.

Mr. Edson has more than 11 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Edson was at Mount Yale Capital Group from 2006 to 2011, where he most recently served as a leading member of the investment team, responsible for sourcing and conducting research on traditional and alternative investment managers on a platform with over $1.5 billion in assets.

Mr. Edson earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a CFA charterholder.

Nat Fraser is a Director at PWP and is a member of Agility’s Private Capital Team, where he leads a team investing in private capital strategies on behalf of its endowment and foundation clients. He participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Nat was a Senior Associate at Strategic Investment Group, an OCIO provider in the Washington DC area, where he was responsible for investment due diligence in private equity, venture capital, and illiquid real assets. In addition, Nat had roles on the client service and marketing sides of the business, working with existing clients on a range of portfolio management activities, as well as with potential endowment and foundation clients considering an OCIO solution. Prior to that, Nat was a Senior Associate with IXI Corporation, where his analytics supported market sizing and asset allocation studies on behalf of various bank clients.

Nat graduated from the University of Virginia, where he earned a B.A. in Economics.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. When he’s not scouring the world for investment opportunities, Nat enjoys playing basketball with his son, volleyball with his wife, and fetch with his dog.

Nicholas Hartnett is a Director at PWP and a member of Agility’s Absolute Return Team, where he is a key member in the team’s investment sourcing and due diligence effort. He participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Nicholas worked as a member of the Investment Team at Quish & Co., where he sourced and conducted research on alternative investment managers. His responsibilities included financial market research, investment and operational due diligence, as well as placing trades and monitoring trade analytics for a systematic, all equity, portfolio. While an undergraduate, Nicholas interned for PWP.

He holds a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Economics from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Nicholas is a CFA charterholder. In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys traveling and training for marathons and triathlons.

Tamara Larsen is a Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Asset Management business.  In this role, she is responsible for co-leading the Mission-Aligned Investment practice of the firm. She has a hybrid role leading investment selection of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and mission aligned investments across asset classes, integrating ESG issues into Agility’s investment process, and also has responsibilities for conventional private real assets investing.  She participates on the Agility Investment Committee.

Tamara has more than 18 years of investment experience.  Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Tamara was at Russell Investments from 2008 to 2017, where she most recently served as Head of Private Markets Research, responsible for leading the investment selection and due diligence for various private capital investment strategies, including energy, infrastructure, private equity / debt, and real estate; she was also portfolio manager for a mission-aligned mandate focused on the healthcare, climate change mitigation, and financial inclusion sectors.  She was a voting member of the Russell Investments Alternatives Subcommittee, which governed all client investment recommendations for hedge funds, private markets and listed real assets. She was previously a Senior Vice President of Centerline Capital Group, where she was a portfolio manager and acquisitions officer for a real estate investment joint venture with California Public Employees’ Retirement System (“CalPERS”).  Prior to that, Tamara held acquisitions roles at Lehman Brothers and boutique real estate investment manager Thor Equities. She began her career as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Tamara earned a MSc in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Economics from Smith College. She serves on the boards of Colorado Public Television (CPT12) and a renewable energy venture focused on Sub-Saharan Africa

Kevin Yew

Kevin Yew is a Director at PWP and a senior member of Agility’s Operational Due Diligence Team.

Prior to joining PWP, Kevin was a Vice President at Citigroup, where he was part of the Global Managed Investments Team under Citi Private Bank. In this role, he performed operational due diligence reviews of third party sponsors and funds, including public, private, hedged strategies, real estate, structured products, and direct co-investment opportunities in the United States, Latin America and Asia. Prior to that, Kevin was an Assistant Vice President at Bessemer Trust, where he was responsible for conducting operational due diligence on behalf of their proprietary alternative investment funds, as well as an Associate at Gottex Fund Management.

Kevin earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Kevin has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and holds the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. In his free time, Kevin enjoys snowboarding, hiking, photography, and travel.

Kirill Buzinov is an Associate at PWP and a member of Agility’s Absolute Return Team where he assists with investment manager due diligence, asset allocation, and market analysis.

Prior to joining PWP, Kirill worked at the University of Colorado Treasury, where his responsibilities included assisting the treasurer in allocation and reinvestment of earnings in a $1.5+ billion fund, performing portfolio and daily liquidity budget reconciliations, and conducting investment research.

He holds a B.S. in Finance and a Certificate in Commodities from the University of Colorado Denver.  Originally from Russia, Kirill enjoys skiing, traveling, and practicing Kendo. He is also a member of the Young Professionals Council at Denver Kids, a local non-profit that supports K-12 students in the Denver Public School system who face the challenges of a high-risk environment.

Patrick Callahan

Patrick Callahan is an Associate at PWP and a member of Agility’s Private Capital Team.  His primary responsibility is to source, underwrite, and monitor private investments in energy, real estate, agriculture, and other real assets sectors.

Prior to joining PWP, Pat worked as a member of the Investment Team at Mantucket Capital, a private investment firm with more than $1 billion in capital under management, where he evaluated and conducted due diligence for acquisitions, recapitalizations, and specialty financing across numerous industries.

He holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Business Administration in Finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.  Pat is a CFA charterholder and represents PWP on multiple Limited Partner Advisory Committees. Pat helped form, and currently serves as, a member of the University of Denver Rugby Football Club Board.  In his spare time, Pat enjoys playing golf, traveling, skiing, and spending time with family, friends, and his two Labradors.

Mason Harris is an Associate at PWP and a member of the Public Markets Team where he provides manager and asset allocation research, performance and attribution analysis, data aggregation, and the development of client presentation materials.

Prior to joining PWP, he worked at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) as a Business Analyst. While an undergraduate, he interned for Raymond James and Associates, where he assisted with asset allocation, fund research, and customer relationship management.

Mason holds a B.S. in Finance, Minors in Mathematics and Economics, and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mason is a CFA charterholder. Outside the office, Mason enjoys travelling the world, skiing, cooking, audiobooks, and spending time with close family and friends.

Luke Ketzenbarger is an Associate at PWP and a member of Agility’s Operational Due Diligence team, where his duties include performing operational due diligence on Agility’s underlying investment managers.

Prior to joining PWP, Luke worked as a Supervisor of Alternative Investment Fund Accounting at ALPS Fund Services. In this role, he computed net asset values of various hedge funds, assisted in portfolio valuations and aided in the completion of associated financial statements.

Luke holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and an M.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Luke is a CFA Level III Candidate. In his spare time, Luke enjoys biking, fly fishing, spending time in the mountains, and traveling.

Prior to joining PWP, Jake interned as a member of the Group Strategy Team at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd.  His primary responsibilities included macroeconomic research, business development in Mainland China, as well as directly supporting the executive team with its execution of strategic initiatives.

Jake holds a B.A. in History modified with Economics with High Honors from Dartmouth College.  Jake is a 2018 Level III Candidate in the CFA Program.  In his spare time, Jake enjoys foreign affairs, skiing, and fly fishing.

While an undergraduate, he interned for IPS Strategic Capital. His primary responsibilities included conducting investment research, back testing options strategies, and new business development for the firm’s mutual fund. Patrick also interned for PWP as a graduate student.

Patrick holds an M.S.F. and a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and is a CFA Level I Candidate. Outside the office, Patrick enjoys skiing, fly fishing, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.

Samuel Oyemade is an Analyst at PWP and a member of Agility’s Absolute Return Team where he assists with investment manager due diligence, asset allocation, and market analysis.

Prior to joining PWP, Samuel interned at Goldman Sachs twice within their securities division, firstly as a spring intern then a summer analyst, where his responsibilities included proposing daily investment ideas, producing market summaries for traders across multiple desks, as well as completing assigned projects across multiple trading desks. Prior to that, he also interned at National Securities in Miami as a wealth management intern.

He holds a first class MEng  degree in Chemical Engineering  from the University College London. Outside of work Samuel is an avid sportsman and had played rugby at county level in England. He also co-founded the young Buharian culture organization in Nigeria, where the aim was to help eradicate the mindset of corruption from the next generation of Nigeria’s politicians.

Stephen Fleischer is a Managing Director at PWP and Associate General Counsel of Agility.  In this role, he is responsible for all legal matters pertaining to Agility.

Stephen has more than 15 years of legal experience in the investment management industry.  Prior to joining PWP, Stephen was at Janus Capital Group from 2013 to 2015, where he most recently served as an Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel responsible for providing legal support to the global institutional sales group, including privately-offered commingled funds.  He was previously a Senior Counsel of Marsico Capital Management LLC, where he worked on institutional separate accounts.  Prior to that, Stephen was a Senior Counsel at UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc. and Senior Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Harris Alternatives LP.  Stephen began his career in private practice.

Stephen earned a B.A. in French with a Minor in Economics (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Iowa, a J.D. from the Iowa College of Law, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Prior to joining PWP, Phil worked at Starwood Capital Group within the Operations and Accounting group for their REIT business. Previously, Mr. Alfonsin worked at Sandelman Partners, LP, where he was responsible for various aspects of financial and management reporting. Phil gained public accounting experience at Ernst & Young LLP in the Asset Management group, where he covered clients, including hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds.

Phil received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the University at Buffalo.

 Brenna earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Northern Arizona University. She holds the FINRA Series 7 & 24 licenses. Outside the office, Brenna enjoys traveling and camping and hiking in the Colorado outdoors.

Prior to joining PWP, he competed in the NFL for three years as a member of the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  While an undergraduate, Kyle interned for Oerlikon Fairfield.  His responsibilities included research, development, and implementation of process improvement and cost-reduction projects within Oerlikon’s manufacturing department.

Kyle holds a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing from Purdue University and graduated with Highest Honors. Kyle is a CFA Charterholder.  When he’s not in the office, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and serving at his local church.

Prior to joining PWP, Rossy worked within client portfolio operations and client services as a member of the Investment Team at the JP Morgan Private Bank.  Before this role, she worked as an Investment Analyst at JDS Holdings LLC, a single-family office in Orlando, Florida, where she conducted investment research, oversaw family and company investment portfolios, and provided investment advice to family members.

Rossy holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business, and received a B.A. in Economics from Sofia University, Bulgaria. In her spare time, Rossy enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, and traveling.

Paula has a B.A. with an emphasis in Business and Communications from the University of Colorado – Denver and holds a Colorado Broker’s License. Before that, and when Annette first moved to Colorado, she owned a promotional products and marketing distributorship for ten years. Her responsibilities included sales, marketing, human resources, inventory, and accounting.

Annette received an Associates Degree in Executive Secretarial Science and has been able to support C-Suites from Michigan to Colorado. In her free time, Annette enjoys golf, bowling, and spending as much time as possible with her husband.

Chris Bittman is a Partner at PWP and CEO and CIO of Agility. He is a voting member of the Agility Investment Committee.

Prior to joining PWP, Chris was the Chief Investment Officer of the University of Colorado Foundation.  Under his leadership the Foundation was named “Large Foundation of the Year” in 2007 by Institutional Investor’s Foundation & Endowment Money Management magazine based on “superior investment performance, innovation and notable asset allocation moves.”  Before being named the first CIO of the Foundation in 2004, he was the President and CEO of Jurika & Voyles, a California investment firm, where he was responsible for the management of over $5 billion for a broad variety of Fortune 500 corporations, public funds, foundations, endowments, and families.  He began his career on Wall Street as the Western Regional Manager for Merrill Lynch’s Business Financial Services Group and was the youngest Regional Manager in the group’s history.

Chris graduated from the University of Colorado in 1985 and served the institution as a volunteer for nearly 20 years in various capacities – as President of its Alumni Association; as Trustee and Director of its Foundation; and as Chair of the Foundation’s Investment Committee.  He sits as a guest lecturer on investment management at the University’s Leeds School of Business and is a former member of the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics Task Force.  He has served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Colorado Public Television, Investment Committee member of the Colorado Health Foundation, board member of the University of Colorado Technology Transfer Office and Trustee of Colorado Academy – a private, coeducational college preparatory school in Denver.  Chris currently serves as the National President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  Under Chris’s management, Agility has received a number of awards including the OCIO of the Year Award in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 by Institutional Investor.

Robert Pozen is Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan School and Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He was formerly Chairman of MFS Investment Management®, which manages over $200 billion in assets for over five million investors worldwide. In late 2001 and 2002, Mr. Pozen served on President Bush’s Commission to Strengthen Social Security. He developed a model called “progressive indexing” for closing Social Security’s long-term deficit.  In 2003, Mr. Pozen served as Secretary of Economic Affairs for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. He helped the Governor close the state’s large budget gap and reorganize its functions in business and technology, labor and workforce training and consumer affairs. Mr. Pozen was formerly vice chairman of Fidelity Investments and president of Fidelity Management & Research Company, the investment advisor to the Fidelity mutual funds. During Mr. Pozen’s five years as president, Fidelity’s assets increased from $500 billion to $900 billion. From 1987 to 1996, Mr. Pozen was managing director and general counsel of Fidelity Investments. In that role, he created Fidelity’s Charitable Gift Fund, launched Fidelity’s entry into the Japanese mutual fund business, and served as a director of its credit card bank. Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Pozen was a partner at the Washington, D.C., law firm of Caplin & Drysdale, where he led the banking/securities department from 1981 to 1986. Prior to that, he was associate general counsel to the Securities & Exchange Commission from 1978 to 1980. Mr. Pozen also was a law professor at Georgetown and New York University from 1973 through 1977. In 1968, Mr. Pozen graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College, which awarded him a Knox Traveling Fellowship. In 1972 he received a law degree from Yale Law School, where he served on the editorial board of the Yale Law Journal. In 1973, he received a JSD from Yale for his doctoral thesis on state enterprises in Africa. Mr. Pozen is an outside director of Medtronic and Nielsen. In addition, he is involved with various non-profit organizations, such as the Tax Policy Center and the Boston Foundation.

Cathy Clark has been an active pioneer, educator and consultant for 25 years in the fields of impact investing and social entrepreneurship.  In 2014, Clark was named one of top 20 women working in philanthropy, social innovation and civic engagement in the USA.  As Faculty Director at the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, she founded the CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing and co-leads the Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD), a USAID-funded global health accelerator. She has coordinated global research across 15 universities using data from $4.5 billion of impact assets under management and from over 11,000 impact entrepreneurs in 29 countries. Clark was the sole academic member invited to David Cameron’s G8 Social Impact Investment Taskforce US National Advisory Board, and worked with the Obama White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Engagement to track $2.5 billion in impact investment funding by US-based entities. She is co-author of The Impact Investor: Lessons in Leadership and Strategy for Collaborative Capitalism (2014), which reached #18 in finance textbooks on Amazon in 2014, and a new online training series for social entrepreneurs, called CASE Smart Impact Capital. Michael Kennedy is a Senior Client Partner in the Atlanta office of Korn Ferry. He leads the firm’s efforts in the pension sector and has conducted senior level searches for the largest pension plans in the country. He has conducted Chief Investment Officer assignments for pension funds, endowments and foundations, Taft-Hartley plans and asset management organizations. He is also a co-leader in the firm’s diversity efforts, and has worked with numerous financial services organizations in the development and implementation of diversity recruiting efforts. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Kennedy’s career experience was in corporate finance and asset management. He previously worked in senior roles at General Electric Capital Corporation and Wachovia. He started his financial services career at JP Morgan Investment Management Group. In 2010, Mr. Kennedy was nominated by President Obama, and confirmed by the US Senate, to the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB), the largest retirement plan in the country. In 2011, President Obama designated him as Chairman. With assets exceeding $480 billion, the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board develops and establishes policies governing the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). In 2014, Mr. Kennedy was recognized for his leadership by Sovereign Wealth Institute’s publication, Sovereign Wealth Quarterly, which ranked him as #5 on its list of the top 100 public investors globally. Also in 2014, he was reappointed by President Obama to another four-year term as Chairman. Prior to his roles at FRTIB, Mr. Kennedy served for 14 years as a Trustee at the Employees Retirement System of Georgia. During part of his tenure, he served as the Board Chair and Chairman of the Investment Committee. During his term as Chairman of the Investment Committee, he was involved in moving the plan into alternative investments, including private equity. Mr. Kennedy currently sits on the Board of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Investment Foundation Fund and also serves as a national co-chair of the UNC capital campaign. He previously served as Chairman of the UNC Board of Visitors. He previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. Mr. Kennedy has been involved with the Communities-In-Schools program in Atlanta, serving in numerous leadership roles including Board Chair. He has also been involved in the Harvard Business Club of Atlanta and the National Association of Securities Professionals. Mr. Kennedy earned a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Erik Lundberg is the Chief Investment Officer at University of Michigan, responsible for directing the University’s more than $11 billion of investment programs, which includes the 9th largest endowment of an institution of higher learning. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the University of Michigan is one of the best-known and respected higher education institutions in the United States.  Founded in 1817 as one of the first public universities in the United States, the University of Michigan today is consistently ranked among the nation’s top universities with students from all 50 states and over 100 different countries. Since joining the University as its first Chief Investment Officer in the fall of 1999, Mr. Lundberg has established the University’s Investment Office as a highly regarded institutional investor and has seen the endowment grow from being the 17th largest endowment when he joined to being 9th in size today with a value of nearly $10 billion.  Mr. Lundberg received Institutional Investor Magazine’s Award for Excellence in Investment Management for Endowments in 2007 to recognize his outstanding achievement, was named Public Endowment CIO of the Decade in 2015, and ranked among the top 20 CIOs in the world by Chief Investment Officer magazine. Leading a staff of twelve investment professionals, Mr. Lundberg develops and implements investment strategy for all of the University’s investment programs, evaluates current and prospective investment managers, explores alternative investment strategies, and ensures successful communication and relations with the University and its Investment Advisory Committee. Mr. Lundberg chairs the Investment Committee of the Skillman Foundation in Detroit, serves on the State of Michigan’s Investment Advisory Committee, the Detroit Renaissance Venture Capital Fund Board of Directors, Okabena Investment Services Investment Advisory Committee, and is a member of the CIO Advisory Council of Alternative Investment Management, Inc. He has been a trusted advisor to TIFF (The Investment Fund for Foundations) and EMGF (Capital International’s Emerging Markets Growth Fund). Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Mr. Lundberg held positions with increasing responsibilities at a corporate investment office which was charged with overseeing $22 billion in pension and other plan assets.  While there, he helped develop overall investment strategy, lead the global asset allocation activities, and managed the U.S. and non-U.S. equity programs.  He also has prior experience in investor relations and corporate finance.
